Former Screensaver host now has a online media empire. Impressive.

Current hosts include ex-employees from TechTV.

Last Sunday (July 24) the flagship show, this Week in Tech achieved 30,000 online viewers live.

I think he produces some of the best tech shows online. Almost all of my podcasts are from TWiT.

I like Windows Weekly the most. He and Paul are a good combination and they talk a lot about the industry as a whole. Both of them have been in the tech industry for decades so it's nice to have that experience.

I am a little tired of Leo flogging his bricks to help pay for his new studio, but I guess it did come in at over twice what they originally budgeted.

That's what I like about Paul Thurrott. He's pretty cynical about Microsoft as a whole and seems almost shocked when they come out with something great or the company moves in the right direction.

They have only mentioned the bricks a couple of times on Windows Weekly. I'd probably buy one if it were $90 or so, but then I guess they wouldn't make enough money.

Or the guy who ran Windows 2K up until just recently because he thought it was more secure than XP, Vista, 7? Hey Steve, when was the last W2K update? Wouldn't that make it less secure than the newer Windows OS's?

From what I understand, the only income he takes from TWiT are the donations (and he caps it a certain limit). Everything else goes back into the business.
