Well my opinion of Milo has dropped significantly on that news. Obviously his arguments were for the faithful because they don't really stand up to a lot of scrutiny.
The thought came to me yesterday that a lot of people on the internet don't actually know what a troll is, even if they use the word a lot.
For example, most Yiannopoulos followers don't realize he's essentially performance theater. They think he's only "trolling" Jones & such, but not them. Yet it's fairly clear Milo largely despises the neckbeard gaming crowd despite acting one of the main gamergate alt-right instigators.
I think many are unfamiliar with how British politics where he comes from works. It's largely the same echelon of people who went to the same schools putting on a show for the lower classes.
