1. I'm considering writing a proposal my Texas govenor to see if it would be feasible and possible to offer tax cuts and/or credits to those who participate in folding@home research and other projects of similar nature, ie if there were region specific distributed computing groups whos purpose could server for advance weather patterns analysis or geotechnical data processing.
2. How many of you guys think its worth it to take a detour from my current degree (Sophmore EE major) to get and aasociates in CS. The reason being is that I hate my job(T-Mobile sale whore), and would like to get in a position to gain experience and satisfaction out of work. Your thoughts guys, and thanks in advance.
