i'd imagine its a 3-5 degrees worse than one gtx, which is just about what ur getting

of course u gotta consider ambient, case flow, etc

thats a good temp for ko's because they come clocked soo high. Even with there new acs cooler (which isnt really that good i might add) it just looks cool.

Your temp looks very similar to mine (mine loaded @ 80C highest) while I have one GTX KO in CMStacker.

Just for comparison, my stock clocked GTX runs at 45-48 idle and 75-78 at full load.

I prefer the NV5 Silencer to the KO ACS3 cooler.

My temps:

KO stock

idle:
GPU1 50C
GPU2 51C

load
GPU1 79C
GPU2 83C

NV5 Silencer

idle:
GPU1 45C
GPU2 43C

load
GPU1 69C
GPU2 64C

I have a single KO and my idle and load temps are 10-15 deg C less than yours. I don't even have crazy case air flow, just 3 80mm Panaflos that are temperature controlled by the mobo + my PSU fan. On the flipside, I also don't have any other cards generating heat except for an 802.11g card.

I have the acs3 and I've never seen load temps over 70c. Idles at 50-51c. And it does look cool. I was thinking about a Zalman ZF700, or some other comparable vga cooler, but I'm not sure about clearance and such when I eventually get the second card.

Running a single EVGA 7800GTX KO Edition here with pretty good case cooling, idle temp 49C and under load around 74C

idle temp screenshot.

Pleast note he is running 2 ko's in Sli, not just one like some of you. So i would say yes again that is a good temp.

I got 2 eVGA 7800 GTX KO ACS. My temps are idle about 55, and load about 80. I wonder why the second graphics card always has about 3 degrees less than the other one. Anybody know?

I have two KO's in a P180. I also have a bracket with two 92mm fans blowing along the whole length of the cards. On cool day (room temps ~70F) the cards will be around 45-48C idle and 65-69C load. On a hot day (~80F), the cards will be around 52-54C idle and 76-77C load.

Because it is getting fresher air to the fan. The first card has to pull air from in between the cards, which contains the heat from the second card.

Single 7800GTX KO here, with 41 C idle and 48 C load (at least this is the highest I have seen it go)... but it is watercooled.

i purchased the eVGA 7800GTX KO w/o much research; i only got it cuz thats what everyone had. is there another 7800gtx 256mb that is considered better than the eVGA?

To my knowledge the only other 256 RAM card that can come close to the eVGA 7800GTX KO ECS3 is the ASUS 7800GTX TOP. Its factory overclocked at 486MHz whereas the eVGA card is 490MHz. In the only performance test I seen between the two (MaximumPC mag if I remember correctly) the eVGA edged out the ASUS version to get the claim of best card. Many feel however when it comes to the software side of things ASUS offers more/better utilities than eVGA but that doesnt change the fact the eVGA is top card in this category when it comes to performance.

It should be pointed out that most all 7800GTX 256 stock cards (430MHz) can be overclocked well past 500MHz with the proper cooling. Best speed I have seen posted is 530MHz.
