This is so fcked up, it went up $50.00 a week! aarrrgghhh!! $9600.00 a year for health insurance is insane!

I am thinking about getting a part time job with a company that has FREE health insurance, I cant pay almost ten grand a year PLUS co-pay, co-insurance, prescriptions and referrals.

I am on salary and have been working fifty hour work weeks, that is going to change, I may end up working sixty hours total but fourty or less for my salaried job, I gotta do something.............


What do you pay?

I'm sure it goes without saying, but I'm the only one on my coverage.

The next time I change jobs I can assure you that health insurance will be figured in addition to my salary, my wife had a crappy low paying job with a national company that had family/dental for $170.00 a month she left that company and now were screwed.

I'm single & pay $56 a month for medical, $5 a month for dental.

My dental coverage only covers up to $1,000 in benefits a year. I have a lot of work that needs to be done and am going to end up paying alot out of pocket.

You said you want to get a parttime job for dental coverage, don't almost all places require you to be a fulltime employee to qualify for insurance?

I talked to a UPS guy and he said that part timers get free health insurance, also checking around for insurance quotes direct from providers, anyone else have coverage direct from a provider?

10 a month for full dental, 50 a month for full Health insurance. Work at a hospital with 4K employees.. Delta Dental is the best dental I have ever had.

Are you married? Does wife have a full job? Check to see what her rates are. You could end up saving 10 grand a year...my family does My mom gets free dental and health, had we gone with my dad it would be about 300 a month for the family.

Just go with Blue Cross and cut dental out of there. Pay for your doctor visits and any prescriptions ot of your pocket. You'll should be able to accomplish this at 5-6k a year. Insurance is expensive anyway you put it.
