You know what's pathetic? Blaming Isam Maigel and Hana Saad for things they almost certainly had nothing to do with.

As for what really happened, witnesses claimed he was trying to intimidate them, and given that bigoted people like you seem to be the norm when it comes to Muslims lately, I can very well believe that's exactly what he was trying to do...just like I have NO problems believing you'd do the same thing in this position. Granted, some nations might not be great exporters anymore, but with what they have there are still benefitting. Also, Pakistan may not have Petroleum, but it does have other energy resources, i.e. natural gas, and in today's world it is becoming important as well.

Anyway, it seems like quite a bit of them are benefitting from having energy resources in their back yard.

Indonesia has a GDP of 850 Billion.

The largest in the Muslim world.

Oil is not even close to being a major part of that 850 Billion GDP.

Indonesias GDP is $270 Billion, oil output is roughly 1 Million BPD which works out to something like $20 Billion a year (not including downstream operations like refineries etc).

According to Wikipedia they have not invested in the oil infrastructure; also, don't forget the fact that they were a net exporter in the past; whether they (i.e. corrupt gov.) blew all that money is another matter.
