Two problems

1. Every so often DkWatson Post Mortem Debugger or something will random crash, and have the error reporting screen. After I click do not send, i can't access my toolbar. Everything else works, alt-tab, desktop buttons, etc. I click ctrl-alt-del, and under processes I see two DkWatson with non changing RAM values. After I end both, my everything except my wallpaper refreshes (disappears and reappears after a few seconds), and everything works normally.

2. I think this is related to world of warcraft, but a folder called Logs with file cpu.log keeps recreating itself somehow. I delete it, and after i play WoW, it is there again.

if anyone could help me solve this problem, it would be greatly appreciated =)

Spyware infection. Are you experiencing pop ups or sluggishness within your computer? Can you go to www.pandasoftware.com/activescan and do an online scan of your hard drive, save the log and post it back here?

hm... no popups or sluggishness. Doing the scan right now, found 2 infected but far from finished. Updated and ran MS Anti-Spy, didn't find anything. I always use updated Firefox with an updated (the definitions at least) version of kaspersky. The only thing that I can think of that changed was that I had to install some starterup (just some instructions along with an IE toolbar, though I never use IE unless i have to) stuff from Verizon to register my account with them (changed from Cox).

i'll leave this thing scanning overnight, and post the results in the morning. BTW thanks for helping

Not a problem. Normally when I see people bring their unit in with DrWatson issues its due to spyware. Let me know, thanks.

no idea what savepoint is... but stupid verizon >_<
I went ahead and uninstalled the the Verizon stuff using the normal windows uninstaller, and it got rid of the files above. Don't want to jump the gun and do anything with the registry, though.

i have this logs folder too as well as my friend - he has had it for weeks but i have only had it since reinstalling my system this past weekend. we both play wow but i dont see why he would have it for so long and i only get it after a fresh os install - might be wow and ms updates ? hope someone knows.
