she was making "purple drank?"
that's a urban legend, nobody does that.. purple drank is actually slang for codeine + promethazine cough syrup, an opiate+anti histamine cough syrup, that for some reason, they decided to make taste like absolute candy.. if you've ever tried it, you'd know, it's actually hilarious that drug companys would flavor an opiate drug syrup like a child's candy, it literally tastes like candy...
even crazier is there's another syrup by the name "tussinex" which is hydrocodone+chlerphernermine (again opiate +antihistamine, hydrocodone is stronger than codeine however) and just like the "purple drank" syrup, it too, is hilarilously candy flavored as well, some tropical orange flavor...
it was made popular in the houston and dallas texas areas by local rappers who became insanely famous for rapping about consuming the opiate drug syrup, it was quickly diverted to the streets and sold on the black market accross the nation, and still is, to this day.
i would imagine she was an opiate addict, was out, popped a ton of tylenol in attempt to ease withdrawal symptoms and that was that..... someone should have given her an opiate prescription years ago, or methadone maintainence treatment, she'd probably still be alive..
