We just went. Stayed at Art of Animation - one of the cheaper Disney resorts. Amazing pool (one of three)
Room was $730 including all the taxes/fees for 6 nights. 4 day park hopper tickets for us were $312 for 2. Drove down as it's 4 hrs away. Buses run to all the parks very often - I don't think we ever waited more than 5 minutes for one. You get free parking at the parks if you're staying on Disney property if you don't want the bus and have a car. We had the new wristbands that serve as room keys, park entry, fast passes, make restaurant reservations, to charge food and souvenirs and more (one person can program fast passes for 3 rides at one time and share them out with everyone in your party - we had 8 people - so that everyone has a pass for the same ride at the same time. All done from your computer or phone or a kiosk in the park and programmed into the chip in the wristbands.) I believe these are going to be used at all the Disney properties at Disney World starting in November (that's what they said.)
Hotel room had fridge so we breakfasted there. Lunch, supper and snacks around $100 per day. So, for us, less than $2000 for everything, but no airfare involved.
