May, not do. What is the measure used to make that determination? You're transgender? Oh you may need medical treatment. Cya.As in any of the medical conditions that will stop many from entering military service:
As it states:
“persons with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria — including individuals who the policies state may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery — are disqualified from military service except under limited circumstances.”

Seriously, the link alone would suffice.^^
tl;dr
Jesus edit out the shit and just post the link.
I'll have to get off your lawn first.Go and fuck yourself.
Based on the bolded in your own post, it's not an opinion. The verbage has always been there to dq transgender individuals if it would be a reason that duties would not be fullfilled.
And Trump pandering to Cons his obvious. So whatever you want to tell yourself to rationalize I guess.
Yea, buts that's not good enough. We need to make sure those dirty liberals dont get to serve as volunteers.Sorry, I misinterpreted your post.
The horse and pony show shouldn't be needed, but politicians are what they are.
You are correct. They should be able to refuse anyone based on the examining medical officers opinion.
And currently estimates are that thousands of transgender people currently serve in the military and a very small percentage of them are considering actual reassignment surgeries. There's no reason to get rid of thousands of people serving honorably just for being transgender.Oh, you think liberals are dirty?
I think liberals should serve in the military.
Hell I think all healthy qualified individuals should serve the military. Maybe we would have less snowflakes to deal with.

Good for them. Taxpayers should not pay for any of those surgeries or hormones.
In my opinion they could be allowed to serve as long as they do not require any special treatment ( hormones, surgery etc... ), And their "condition" does not impact or prevent them from performing their job.
And as soon as it does, out they go.
I did. The military are totally justified to screen out people that are deemed not fit for service.
Your feels do not matter.
And yet the military pays almost 10 times as much for boner pills for veterans and active-service troops. But since that is viewed as an acceptable quality of life issue no one would ever suggest they be banned from service or stop paying.
Actually, it can.Changing the subject?
A boner pill doesn't prevent you from doing your job.
