More advanced in aircraft? That one is totally laughable. They can barely make a functioning turbofan engine for their fighters. Their avionics are a decade behind at least. They may have the shape of stealth pretty figured out but learning to actually manufacture coatings, materials, etc at a competitive level simply takes time and money. Even if you steal the formula you can't steal generational knowledge.
Same with carriers... even if they do manage to design a good operational carrier who are they going to staff it with? Guys that have umm, never worked on a carrier.
Missiles... well yes they have a lot of missiles. Most are short range. They have the ASBM's and such but most likely they would never work without nuclear warheads.
Cyberwarfare, who really knows? Hard to assess.
i did not say their aircraft were more advanced than ours, just than their aircraft carrier designs. coatings are expensive and hard to maintain, so engineers have been using aircraft shape to reduce cross sectional signature. if they have figured how aircraft shape works, then they are doing at least somewhat well in stealth. as far as engines go, they are wanting to develop their own engines, so that they do not have to rely on any one else. they could probably buy better engines from the russians if they needed to. considering the overall scale of war, 10 years behind in aircraft avionics might not be that bad.
if both the us and china are hacking into each other, the us can learn what china is doing, while the chinese can learn what we are doing plus learn what they do not know.
why would a anti ship ballistic missile fail without a nuclear warhead?
the chinese also do have icbms.
when we first made carriers we did not have guys with aircraft carrier experience either. they have guys with land aircraft experience and guys with naval experience, so maybe having them work together might work out.
