That's no shark...
I think it is. There were shark warnings at the time by the beach authority, and this one was one of several fish of similar size swimming back and forth in front of the beach. They'd do the occasional circle round and the people in charge of putting out flags were saying that there were sharks in the areaOriginally posted by: DaFinn

First pic on that page
Are you sure, even though there was a warning about them and a lot of sharks in the area, and these beasts were swimming back and forth in front of the beach and circling a bit and all that?Originally posted by: aircooled
Cute pics!
That is a dolphin, but it's an easy mistake since they are both usually in the same area.

Sometimes it's hard to tell a dolphin fin from a shark fin. Here's how: Dolphins are mammals, with a vertical dorsal fin. However, dolphins have horizontal tail fins. Sharks are fish, with both vertical dorsal fins and vertical tail fins. If you see an animal with only one fin that arches its back and breathes through a blow hole, it's a dolphin. If you see a vertical dorsal fin followed by a vertical tail fin, it's a shark.
