I pm'd the CUSA add at circuit city in Miami to $70.99 also went to BB they were marked 79.99 on the shelf. I Didn't get another but there were a couple left.

Yep $80 bucks here, I picked up 3 of them. 2 were 64mb 8X AGP and the other 64mb 4X AGP.

Well I went to BB and I got my 64 mb for 79.99. When I got there 2 guys were walking away with all 3 cards they have on the shelf and I was ticked >=( but then I remembered that I called in to check the price before I left. So I walked over to their computer counter and found the card that the guy I taked to on the phone price checked and he left it there and didn't bother to put it back on the shelf so I grabbed it =). As for those other two guys, I hope you are at least going to used them and not just egay them.

it's probably just a secret thing they are doing but they don't want people to find out.
i went and picked up one.
i asked the person to check the price for me, he immediately said it's $79.99 b/c they are pm to either staples or cusa.
there were only two left, one w/ the stupid "crusher" sticker.
i grabbed the one w/o, i hope it's a better one

Is there a way to tell which card you have without opening the box? Are the cards with the crusher stickers the older cards?

Is this card any better than my Visiontek GF3 Ti200? Even if I get the "slow" one? How is the 2d text?

I tried to PM CC tonight, but they gave me a really tough time. This is the first time that this has happened in a long while. No matter what I told the manager, she would not budge. I want to contact corporate and let them know how I feel about this store. Does anyone have a contact for Circuit City Corporate?

I remember ranting about people taking advantage of these kinds of deals at the expense of the hot deals community. I was told I was a horrible person who was getting worked up about nothing and that life isn't fair and that people have every right to abuse a deal in whatever way they legally can. I guess you can't expect anonymous people to uphold any kind of ethical values.

Hey I just dropped by the Bellevue, WA BBY and saw one @ 79.99.

It had the 64 beats 128 sticker though, so I didn't buy it.

The bellevue CUSA was all out.

So basically, lemme get this straight.

If it doesn't have the 64 beats 128 sticker, then it's 128 MB??

And does anyone know how long the BBY deal lasts (the CUSA lasts for 5 days, but I doubt they have any left in stock).

I'm disappointed. Nobody has them around here. Best buy said they didn't even stock them.

There are lots that don't have the sticker that are 64MB. No sticker is no guarantee.

I hear ya', it boils my blood a little as well...at least limit it to one item per customer and make the f@t @sses walk in and out the store with a different shirt on or a fake moustache or something...

usually it is like what Salvador said..BB does what they have termed a "market reaction" ..in that whenever they(BB) feels like it they'll thumb their corporate nose at CompUSA(never seen them do it with Staples tho..) and sell an item straight out the door at CompUSA's bottom dollar line..in this case ..$79.xx ...and usually just for that one day..Sunday..<edit>
