was in pentagon city best buy and noticed there was another one on the shelf w/out sticker. Although i got one with the sticker and got an 8x 128 one at the same store

Ok, for those who have been all over this thread/deal:

My Best Buy has two on the shelf. One with sticker and one without. Which one is more likely to be the 128MB. Sorry I don't feel like reading through this whole thread. Thank you.

Get the one without the sticker.
I got mine yesterday. No sticker on the outside of the box, 8x sticker on the anti-static bag, heatsinks on both sides of the board. Confirmed 128mb in OS.

these 128 meg versions they are the 64meg core/memory clock speeds? or slower?

I wish mine had sinks on both sides of the box. Would it overclock better? I might go to CC and buy one there next week and see if it has sinks on both sides and return the one I got from BB in the box.

128 meg core/memory same as 64 meg. 250/512

I had gone to CC & BB. At both was able to get the boxes without 64 stickers. On both the anti static bag had 8X 64M, the UPC on the bottom of the card matched the box, and heat sinks on only one side.

I guess I'll be hppy with the 64 m version.

BTW, all of these cards 64/128 8x ect... have VGA DVI and S-video out correct?

correct, also with latest nvidia driver there is dual monitor support.

There is still a good chance for all that still want a 128meg card!!!!Keep checking your BB if they are out of stock on these!!!! I bought 2 stickered boxes, as that's all mine had. Both were 64meg cards, so I told one back the asked the guy in the compter deptartment if they had any in back or if they would be getting more it (this was Tues). He checked around and didn't see any but said he had 1 coming in wed night and it would be out Thurs. Just gat back and it was a non stickered on and YES it had a 128meg card in it!! So keep checking and ask when more are coming as the older boxes are still in the warehouses!!! Now to bring the 64 card back.

so here's what happened with me.

i saw this deal and i called a couple of BB's in the area and none of them had any. so i decided to go to CC and they ended up pricematching the price to CUSA. they wouldn't match it down to $79 since they said it was a mfg rebate so i got it for $109 ($103 + tax). after i got back to work i decided to call another BB that was in the area and they had it. i asked them to put it on hold for me and i picked one up. it was the one with the sticker and when i popped it in my computer of course it didn't work (that's another story). so i went back to CC and i had them pricematch the one i picked up earlier so i got it for $79.99 - 10%.

not a bad deal for two cards.

now i just gotta get this damn card to work.

Is this feature specific to this model? I have a GF2 Quadro that I would love to do this with, but It's running dot net server right now, so I don't want to load a new OS if it isn't going to work.

what he meant (i think) was that if one wants to use the DVI port, they will have to get an DVI-->VGA adapter to use it

not trying to be funny (honest ), but it seems like a few people are just upgrading for sake's sake (still haven't bothered exchanging my unopened pny 64mb gf4ti4200 from dat) imo
