You need a DirectX-9 compatible card to run that 4th test. GeForce 4 is not one of those cards.

alright this is a total n00b question, but how do you maximize an application on my 2nd monitor???

i have my crt as the primary monitor and my lcd as the 2nd monitor. when i drag an application over to the lcd monitor and maximize it, it automatically maximizes back over over to the crt monitor. is there any way to maximize it on the lcd screen (the 2nd screen)??

i was looking through the settings for a while last night but i couldn't find that option. any help is appreciated!

I know this deal is long dead, but I want to know if anyone has a card like the one I just exchanged a 64mb purple PCB for.

It has a blue PCB with heatsinks on both sides. i has a finned HSF instead of the regular PNY heatsink. The UPC code on the card reads

G4TI4200A8B3DO-MAHAA

It boots up as a 64mb 8x 4200. on the PBC is silkscreened Ti4280.

I can get a pic, but no way to host it.

Yea ! Please don't take the Price Tag from bestbuy stores. Just ask someone at BB, they'll make a photocopy for you. I know there are some anal BB employees that won't. But just ask someone else.

Yeah sorry about that guys and to anybody that missed out locally cause the tag wasn't there. Also is there a FAQ somewhere for newbie's such as myself on what not to do? Thanks

for those who got this from bb, print out the 10% off thing and go back when they are busiest and ask them to give u the refund on 10%, it worked for me (although its current price is $169)

That's what I did. I didn't even end up getting a card at BB. I just used the photocopy of the shelf tag and walked next door to Circuit City and did the 100% PM.

I also have a card on order through BB.com. It's on backorder status. I have a feeling that I won't get this card because a similar thing happened to me with another video card about 6 months ago. They told me that it was on backorder and then a couple weeks later, they cancelled my order saying that they couldn't fill my order. Oh well..

Just checked my online order again and it's still "backordered".

Does anyone think it would work to bring a printout of the order status from the bb.com wesite to a bb B&M to try to get one for $79.99(assuming they have stock in the store as other have reported)?

Our local BB just got a big stack of PNY's in Friday and I bought one hoping to get lucky. It turned out to be one of the blue 64mb ones with Ti4280 silk screened on the circuit board. The only place on the card that has PNY on it is a tiny sticker in the middle of the fan hub. It looks like PNY got a "deal" on some cards made my another company and stuck them in PNY boxes.

$89 now after $40 IR and $40 MIR at Best Buy (In Sunday flyer)

No where near as cool as walking out with it for $79 but hey, at least it's still a good deal if you don't have a CompUSA nearby.

Good to hear that orders are starting to be shipped. What are the chances getting a 128 mB/8x card from this order? With the shipments BB getting the 64mB/Blue PCB could we still hope for a 128mB? :frown:

BTW, ordered 3 at 3/20 (last day) via the BB kiosk.

Right now I'm not even so worried about how much memory's on it. While 128 is a bonus I'm just happy to get in on the deal at all considering how difficult it was just to find a store instock... (I was forced to order online cuz all stores were out in my area)
