I had thought about it, but I wasn't exactly sure what it was...so I hadn't included it.

Hmm...on a side note...I wonder if the mods might sticky it. It's most likely a long shot, but might as well go for it.

i wonder how many of the 12% pre-builts are lappys? some people do use their lappy as their main, if not only, system.

Excellent point. I think that one needs a "laptop" option just so the numbers aren't skewed.

I think that's a little too specific.

Very good point. But whether it's a laptop or not, it stil lis pre-built. There are Home-built laptop kits as well. I'm actually thinking I'm going to leave the poll as is.

true. probably too late, but maybe

is your main system a-
pre-built laptop
self built laptop
pre-built desktop
self built desktop.

only because i have a hard time thinking 12% of AT has pre-built systems

Well, when I refresh the poll in a few months...I will be sure to re-word the answers.

I have a Mobile Athlon XP in my laptop and it's a very nice CPU. Don't dog it if you haven't tried it.

Rock Hydra-- I have tried. We have an amd fan boy in our purchasing department that picked up 5 Toshiba?s running athlon 64's. and from my experience the Intel M is much better processor suited for laptops.

No doubt it a superior all around CPU for notebooks. But performance definately isn't lacking either.

I really hope amd see some sucess in the laptop market in the next two years. It has been very interesting to see amd out perform Intel in both desktop and server market over the last year.

Already voted, but the longer the thread survives the more accurate the results right?

Hence the bump.
