In an effort to clarify my comments, Need for Speed Underground 2 does indeed check for virtual drive and/or drive imaging software. It gives me a virtual drive software error every time I attempt to start it. I recently un-installed all drive imaging software on my rig and I still get the same error. I think it's related to Norton Ghost either marking the drive as usable by Ghost or a registry entry that is not removed during the un-install process. I did not intend to say it checks for burning hardware as it works fine on my son's rig which has never had Ghost, Daemon tools, or any other drive imaging software installed on it.
