I go to UCI and I've never seen this guy there, but I remembered his name. This guy went to my HS :Q I even had a class with him (Spanish). He was a shy person, really nervous in front of the class, quiet type. Wow, I don't pretend that I know him well enough to judge him, but I wouldn't have expected this from a guy who seemed so easygoing (albeit shy) on the outside. I know there are a handful of UCI people here, anyone recognize him?

*edit2* I am assuming that it is the same guy (the guy from my HS and the guy from UCI). I've heard from others who he was, but I still can't say 100% that it's the same person. So... I'm only 99% sure it is.

Sighhhhhhhhhhh, so many incidents like this could possibly be averted if prostitution was legal...then geeks like this could get a piece without too much hassle. It's hard being a geeky, hormone-enraged teenager. Especially when all the nice, pretty girls won't even talk to you because you're not a football-team-captain hunk, and your Daddy didn't buy you a new Trans Am for your birthday. It makes you very lonely...and angry.

I dont see how the legalization of prostitution would help. If he is gonna do it, he is gonna do it no matter what. Prositution and rape are both illegal.

i also dont think think, until definitive proof that this is _the_ Brian Dance, that his pic be posted...what if some mentally or emotionally unstable person sees the pic and runs off to the dorms and carry out his own form of justice? not that someone can't easily find the yearbook from another source...but this is the World WIde internet and we might want to be a little more considerate of the potential consequences

first of all, in UCI, trans ams arent kewl, honda civics are (which is actually what the accused drove) and there is no football team... but on a more serious note, i agree with you in that legalizing prostitution presents another choice for people to vent their sexual aggression, in that they don't have to be shy because its a simple business transaction, albeit some people might be slightly shy to approach a prostitute, they might be less shy... so that it would most probably reduce such crimes to a certain extent... and i find it quite offensive of someone to group rape and prostitution into similar categories as simply being "illegal" because one is wrongly so... one man's rights end where another's begin, hence rape is illegal and morally wrong in a civic sense, but the legalization of prostitution does not take away anyones rights, it simply gives some people more... furthermore, f*ck whoever did this, if they are guilty... it's my f*ckin skewl, and he's in my f*ckin class... makes me wanna sh*t...
