Velasquez is at 240. his walking weight is 240 (no duh)
Lesnar is at the limit (265) but his walking weight is ~300.

60lb difference.

yeah Lesnar will win if he gets Velasquez on the ground.

and i think it'll be kinda hard for Velasquez's take down defense vs someone who is 60lbs heavier (mostly muscle) than you.

not just more muscle Lesnar is not slouch when it comes to wrestling take downs. Once down lesnar is going to get him in a bad spot and beat his head in. Velasquez's BJJ is not as good as mir's and lesnar made Mir look like a novice.

So Cain KO's one dude, who has been hit in the head so many times Forrest Griffin could probably KO him and he's this uber powerful KO artist? I watched him fight Rothwell, and while he did beat his ass real good. Ben was getting right up every time Cain put him down with a strike. Cain also couldn't even finish Kongo even though he punched him about 250 times in 3 rounds. The one KO Cain has a dude who's a sad former shell of himself. I mean he lost to Mir badly, and Mir pretty much sucks.

Personally I think Brock's wrestling is overrated. Yes, he has taken down all of his opponents but all of his opponents have been able to fend themselves off. His takedowns are not GSP quality, they are not godlike. They can be stopped.

You don't know Cain's cardio is better that's dumb, Lesnar does Caveman training every day, which is what Sean Sherk does, and nobody outside of Edgar and Guida have better cardio than Sherk. I bet Brock could go 5 rounds pretty easily. As for Cain not running, well he's never faced a dude with even close to the power of Carwin. And Brock did beat Carwin, by surviving the onslaught and finishing the fight. You use a light weight as your example, Gomi wouldn't have made it out the 1st round. Because nobody outside of Lesnar has made it to the 2nd round with Carwin. So sure anyone who made it to the 2nd round would have finished Carwin that night, but guess what? Nobody else would have of, so it's a moot point. Brock deserves all the credit in the world for fighting his way out of Carwins massive GNP. If Brock was as any good as he's hyped up to be, he would have taken Carwin down and GNPed and destroyed him in the first round. Instead, he got outstruck, raped, and it just so happens Carwin didn't train his cardio as much. If he had, he would be the HW champ now.
