Good night but having the fight of the night followed by one of the most boring fights of the century kind of left a sour taste.
fools. the card was fantastic. GSP/Shields was the only turd on the card.
The other 8/9 fights shown (inc spike prelims) didn't entertain you?
Didn't watch it. I knew GSP would out wrestle his opponent to a win and a 50 year old Couture would get humiliated by Machida. I can watch featherweights free on Friday night boxing and have no interest in the rest of the scrubs.
Except for the main event, that was one of the best cards I've seen in a long, long time. Great fights all the way from Facebook, prelims and to the PP.
What a SHOCKER!!!!! GSP in 5 round decision!
He doesn't fight to win; he fights to not lose. When Tim Sylvia did it, people hated him. When GSP does it, the loving fans from cannuckistan eat it up.
Food for thought: St. Pierre has finished 1 (ONE) fight in the last 3 years and that was BJ who was fighting at 155 and has a known questionable gas tank and didn't answer the bell for the 5th. 5 of his last 6 have been 5 round decisions.
thats just dumb.
he fights to win. he fight smart and safe. he is happy enough to dominate a fight and impose his will on people.
IF he was fighting to not lose he would have lost a ROUND before the shields fight. hell he would have lost a fight.
When is Dana White going to quit protecting his brand and have a GSP vs A. Silva fight or Silva vs Jon Jones? I think we all know that answer. Never. You guys keep filling Dana White's pockets with $50 ppv's while he breaks off bread crumbs for the fighters.
Maybe a Brock vs Kimbo fight would keep y'all happy.
Yet another boring performance by GSP. When is the last time this guy actually finished a fight and didn't drag it out to the judges score card? Seriously, it was another snoozefest by GSP.
