You just never know about the card though. I have seen cards not stacked have some great fights, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Feel bad for Calgary. PPV buys will be awful on this card unfortunately.

People here in Calgary are trying desperately to unload tickets on sites like Craigslist and Kijiji as a result of the change in fight card from what was originally announced. Most all the pubs in the City play the UFC event for free, and I doubt my friends and I will even go to a pub to watch it for free, that's how poor the fight cards is.

:thumbsup: The win, KO, sub, and fight of the night bonuses are always bigger incentives to the fighters not already making the real cheddar. So they tend to be hungrier for finishes, and doing their best to impress the UFC brass. That is why these kind of cards often deliver.

Faber always fights at a fast pace and can be exciting to watch. The Lombard fight should be great. McGee's pretty damn good, and Kongo tends to always push the action. There might not be mega stars here, but the card looks good to me. I hate the term stacked, because people usually use to describing a card that has a ton of big names on it. Big names don't always deliver. I see at least 5 of the fights here delivering. Who cares if they're not UFC vets?

good post. Some of the best cards the last few years have been like this. I am personally sick of the old timers that they keep throwing out there at the expense of young talent just because they used to be somebody.

Doesn't change the fact that they do not sell well.

This card would struggle to sell in many markets.

Anyone else laugh when they showed the notable wins for Bears and Semtex last night? May as well have grabbed someone from the stands to fight him. Bears phoned it in. I know Daley hits hard as hell, but at least you can go out guns blazing.

Excited for lombard. That's about it.

Sadly, as i become a more casual fan of the sport, i care less about seeing smaller guys/no names, even if it is a good fight.

I wanna see the best fight, and if not the best, then i wanna see big heavyweights, or guys that just either knock out or get knocked out.

I still love watching the sport, but i have less and less time and money, and other things to do.

Still pissed about chael losing. Has anyone see the American gangster clip they showed before his fight? (YouTube it right now if uhaven't) Probably the funniest thing ive ever seen. The man should take up acting. Sad to see him lose
