Totally a waste to have Rousey v Carmouche as the main event. There's no way that fight is going to championship rounds. It'll end in round 1 or at most 2. May as well give Henderson V Machida the 5 rounder and the girls the 3.

this is what I was thinking, the UFC 155 was pretty decent. While I'd agree the first 2 fights on the main card weren't the most exciting to watch the last 2 more than made up for it.

Carano might never fight again, Cyborg refuses to make 135 and there's no 145 womans division with no plans for one according to Dana. WMMA in UFC is pretty doomed if Rousey somehow loses it could be the end of females fighting in the UFC. White has basically said he's building WMMA around Rousey and doesn't have much interest in any other female fighters. I'm sure he'd sign Tate, but the future depends greatly on Ronda winning at 157. Ronda has said she isn't interested at moving up in weight to fight Cyborg, can't say I blame her lol

Even if Rousey wins, women in MMA are just boring. Who wants to see her win every time with an arm bar. I don't expect this card to be a big draw at the place I go watch the fights, the Aldo Edgar fight sure wasn't. The masses only come out for big names in their eyes, St Pierre, Silva etc etc.

I love WMMA, the girls usually steal the show, because they always bring it. And her dominating is no different than GSP or Spider doing it.

As to her winning by armbar every time; It is the very definition of mastery IMO. When everyone knows what you are going to do, has trained vigorously to stop it, and you can still do it, THAT is mastery. To me it is a thing of beauty. And I am surprised to read comments like this from you. You are a smart guy, and I did not expect the "just bleed" type of mentality that post exuded.

Spider though is on another level. I think he is really a cyborg from the future that was sent to kill all of humanity. But instead found the UFC and got sidetracked.

Tate-Rousey was easily one of my favorite fights of all-time. A great fight to show someone who is skeptical about WMMA. The last Tate-Kedzie fight is another one.

I think we're still 5 years out from consistantly entertaining WMMA but the potential is certainly there. Just need a deeper talent pool.

I want to see other aspects of her game, not just a one trick pony. I like fighters that can finish in multiple ways, seeing this from her would be awesome, that's all I am saying.
