Maia punches Nelson for 15 minutes... Not a particularly interesting fight. Strangely, Nelson had some promising escapes / reversals into good position but just couldn't do shit with it.

I thought it was a great fight. Maia put on a BJJ clinic. gunner is no slouch when it comes to BJJ and he was just dominated.

Thoughts on the Souza/Romero decision? I think Souza has the second and third. Just depends if the first round was 10-8 Romero or not. I tend to want to give the fight to the fighter who finishes the strongest, and that was Souza.

I thought it was Souza. I thought he had 2/3.

Also I thought Romero should have lost a point for holding the fence. While the ref did it right making them stand up that was pretty damn bad.

I feel like Weidman just looked off in the 2nd? round, I think it was. He just wasn't doing much in the way of offense; wasn't being very aggressive. A single kick, or a single punch here and there, but he just didn't look as sharp as he has in previous fights.

I wonder how well McGregor will handle Aldo's leg kicks. I'm also wondering if McGregor's gas tank will hold up well. Both of these guys cut a lot of weight. McGregor looked extremely sapped yesterday at the weigh-ins.
