LOL. They already did. They wouldn't announce the sale prior to the 200 card. Rake in as much cash as they can off an epic (or was an epic) PPV, finalize sale post-200, then ride off into the sunset with a truckload of $.

And while WaTaGuMp may not care, a whole lot of WWE and Brock fans do. This was a mega card because not only was Jon Jones and DC going to fight, Brock was going to bring in a ton of money as well. UFC 100 wasn't their best event because people interested in MMA wanted to see Lesnar.

I dunno, the dude doesnt like to get hit. I dont blame him, it probably hurts a lot, but I dont think I've ever seen a fighter fold like he does when he gets hit. Maybe it simply stands out more because he looks like someone that should be able to take shots from anyone.

Nobody likes to get hit and he's had like 5 professional and amateur fights COMBINED. Brock had never really been hit until then.

If Brock had started MMA rather than going to WWE, he'd be incredible. The guy is a freak athlete and a good wrestler (though, one could possibly argue his NCAA career was aided by his athleticism, which just makes him even more freakish). The only reason MMA purists don't like Brock is because he was in the WWE.

Oh, 100%. That's why the earlier start would have done him some good. He was too old (for him) to finally start getting hit in the face. Dude probably avoided being the one hit his entire life. Starting him out at 22 sparing, getting smacked in the face every now and then could have/should have toughened him up.

Could be that growing up he was so big and fierce looking that no one ever tried fighting him. I dont know that the earlier start would have changed his willingness to take a punch. His defense and striking would be better, but some guys just fold when they arent doing the punching. There are a lot of phenomenal athletes in MMA that just arent great fighters. Phil Davis comes to mind.

Ugh, I can't believe Silva is taking another fight. He is going to get destroyed. He already is known for being in shit shape out of competition cycle. 3 days notice? DC should have passed this one up. This is all fucking bad for him. If he loses, he's done. Forever. I guess that pay day outweighs the downside?

It's a non title fight and it is at 205 because DC is already at 205 and there would be no way for Silva to get to his 185 in such a short notice, given his non competition habits.
