Has she ever had a different plan? Literally all of her fights are rush in, get either a judo trip -> arm bar, or punch until they are knocked out. When she faces real stand up experts, she doesn't change and gets punished. She is done. All that whining about the media: bullshit. She is exposed.Ronda's fight plan failed against Holm why did she try and do the same thing?
yeah, wtf?!Ronda's fight plan failed against Holm why did she try and do the same thing?

why stand and box when your speciality is submission?

(don't know how long its going to be up.)
lead with your chinI don't follow UFC or care about it. But I did watch the Rousey fight this morning because I had 45 seconds to spare waiting for my toast to pop. How did somebody that completely defenseless against punches in the Holm fight manage to take a year off and remain completely defenseless against punches? Seems that somewhere in that time she could have watched a little film of how she got her ass kicked and learned to play a little defense. Or am I just not understanding the fine points of MMA?
The problem is, and Nunes even said as much, is that her coaches have her thinking she is a good striker. They have her believing she has both judo and striking as strengths, when in reality, judo is what she should be relying on. She won't fire h er coaches. She should have after the Holm fight. Her corner was literally telling her "everything is going great, you're doing just what you should be" against Holm. If what she should be doing is getting punched in the face, fine, but if she wants to win, she needs better coaches. Now that she has real competition to fight we see Rhonda is human and not the machine she was hyped to be Joe rogan and Dana white.
Maybe now both of them can keep quiet.
Rhona either has to seriously work on her striking or just retire and call it a day.
So, is she going to take another year off and talk about how she contemplated suicide over losing a match?
And I feel bad for the people who paid to watch 48 seconds...

Casual MMA fan confirmed. There are plenty of good fights and good cards. But, when you are only interested in "yeah, beat his ass with your fists" you tend to not be interested in any of the other stuff. But, hey, that is who they are banking on growing the sport and is why Vegas has the worst crowds. That's funny, I laugh my ass off at people who paid to watch 48 seconds. They're like Rousey herself, completely incapable of learning from past mistakes. The entire history of PPV fights is that 9 out of 10 suck and 1 of 10 is worth watching. But people keep paying and keep allowing themselves to be ripped off. If the morons used that money to buy a clue they'd realize that if nobody paid for that shit it would be on ESPN.
I need to have these interposed
Nunes winner at 48 seconds via KO/TKO.
