yeah he only won the NCAA wrestling championship, and he's only been training for MMA the past 2 years. not top 20 in the heavyweight division for wrestling? that's gotta be a joke.

Brock will obliterate him in the first round, imo.

Mir has poor cardio (even when he was in great shape - look at the Simms fights where he was falling flat in the end of the first round) and is in questionable physical shape after the motorcycle accident - his last fight was a win, but unimpressive; before that he almost lost a 3 round decision to Christison.

Brock is strong enough that he can power out of some submissions (think a bigger Sean Sherk), and is generally built well enough that he should be able to avoid a quick onslaught, after which Mir will be gassed.... Brock by TKO latter part of first round.

IF he wins (possiblity but not betting for or against him) it would be a submission. I doubt brock has a glass jaw.

but who has brock faced in MMA? only guy i know was terrible but brock did dominate.
