I know we usually have a thread dedicated to each UFC event (and the more significant events in other organizations), but I thought we could use a thread for non-event specific discussions.

I guess Jones gives no credence to DC beating Mir, Bigfoot, Barnett, etc.lol i wouldn't mind seeing that fight. BUT JBJ is right. there are others in line who deserve it more.
Based on the rankings, Davis is the only LHW ranked above DC that hasn't had a shot (presuming Jones gets passed Teixeira). I think I'd much rather see Jones/DC instead of Davis, although I do agree that Davis deserves a shot.Champion : Jon Jones

Jones is gonna duck him as long as possible. I think they are trying to protect Phil Davis untill hes ready. Davis is closing alot of gaps in his game but Jones will kick him in the knee till he falls down with his current skill set.

Rashad lost his spot and needs to regain momentum before a title shot. Ring rust will kill you in a five rounder. Let Rashad have one 3 rounder against somebody like Sonnen.

I would drop down to the ground and crawl over to him as fast as I can, Rousey said. I wouldnt even stand up, I wouldnt be near him. I would just do a little army crawl over there and he would have to run away. I would just be skittering after him like the one dude in "Bloodsport" that was doing the whole monkey crawl fight system. I would do that. I would just bear crawl over there, too low for him to hit me, and tackle him down. I spent a lot of time on the ground, and I doubt that he does.
