Don't think I've ever heard anything bad about Stitch. From all accounts everybody loves him.

That being said, there has got to be more to this story. What he said wasn't bad and Reebok put out a statement that they have nothing to do with UFC staff decisions (if you believe them). I do think that the UFC top brass are greedy, but they can't be this stupid....can they? Terrible PR move.

There could well be more to the story, but there's also the fact it's Dana we're talking about. What other CEO of a billion dollar company routinely gets on Twitter to cuss out random people who criticize them or their company? I find it weird that Reebok would even want to sponsor UFC with how White acts. Dana doesn't care about bad PR, and his temper is pretty legendary. The Reebok deal sucks for everyone not named Dana White or the Fertitta brothers. He knows this, so I'm sure when someone speaks the truth like Stitch did, he gets very angry.

The Reebok deal's one of the worst things that could have happened to UFC, if they didn't have a monopoly I'm sure a lot of fighters would have kicked rocks but Dana knows the majority ain't going nowhere.

Yeah, hopefully stitch gets involved in the lawsuit. This is pretty clearly anti competitive. It would be different if the fighters and cutmen were employees, but they're independent contractors.

I don't, I am not sure why, but I didn't watch Pride much at all. I have been watching the UFC and even lower promotions since most started.

I know, I also never really watched the WEC because I didn't have the channel it was on. I kept hearing about certain fighters, once I did get to see them in the UFC, they started losing.

Keep in mind Zuffa stole most everything from other promotions and now prevents their experience on the internet when many promotions never were whining a huge fuss because their stuff was being watched on the internet by enthusiast fans who loved those fight promotions.

You can watch on the internet. Fight pass. Zuffa bought everything from the other promotions. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at those who sold out.

a deal that makes htem 1% more is ok. i don't get doing it at the expense of fighters and relations.

Heh, I almost felt sorry for Rampage in those days. Seemed like every month he was fighting a Chute Boxe guy. But thats also what I liked about Pride...everyone fought everyone. Rampage against Randleman was epic. Heck, Randleman vs Fedor was epic. Minowa vs Butterbean. Crocop vs Wanderlei. Frye vs Takayama. Rampage vs Arona. Overeem at 205 was always entertaining, even though he lost most of those fights. Krazy Horse Bennett had a lot of interesting fights. Even Phil Baroni put on good fights.

The only thing I didnt like about Pride was they used a ring instead of a cage. I'm almost tempted to get Fight Pass for a month or two and watch all the old Pride fights.
