Since it starts from the date of the fight, its not that bad. I'm surprised he has to pay NSAC and not simply refund that percentage back to the UFC. In a way it seems like a racket.

First offense ban for life? It isn't like he ran out the back of the gym when the tester was trying to track him down.

With that said, I think Silva is done anyway. He may come back and do a few fights, but he isn't going to fight for title contention. He doesn't have it in him anymore.

All of Holly's fights in the UFC have ben underwhelming. But then again. I don't see any women currently in the UFC beating the current champ.

That said, Holly's neck is as thick as her head O_O

Atleast Tate has fought her way back to a title shot, that would give Holly some more time to develop into a complete MMA fighter, as it stands she has little to no chance, I wouldn't even give her the "punchers" chance to end the fight as her punches seem to lack KO power.

She's already 33, it's questionable whether any gain in skills from waiting longer can overcome her decline in physical performance.

More importantly, with the way she's performed, there's no guarantee she'll remain undefeated.

I wouldn't even give her the "punchers" chance to end the fight as her punches seem to lack KO power.

I really hope there are young women who are seeing Ronda dominate and trying to compete at THAT level. Competition in the division is what makes it interesting.

He'd still look good against most in the divsion, except Weidman, Rockhold, Jacare and Romero. I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Rockhold, just cause I think Rockhold wouldn't mind keeping it on the feet. Rockhold would still beat him, but it would be fun to watch.

lol.. 1 less month for Holms to train to defend vs Rousy's ground game. (not that the extra month would matter much)

Holm already had work cut out for her to prepare for an an unexpected title fight in January, and she wasn't shy about saying so, given her limited mma experience. Now they're shaving 6 weeks off of her prep. That puts Holm at an even greater disadvantage and clearly undermining the chances of a very hopeful strong future contender who justifiably needs more time. This is douchebag White at his finest, not giving a fvck anyone but the ppv magnets.

Also, as a result of this schedule change, I wouldn't be surprised if this fight didn't even happen in November. Holm will become more prone to injury, since she'll be training so hard in the meantime and not getting the proper time or rest between practice sessions for recovery.
