I know its not a done deal, but how the fuck has it taken so long?
The politicians probably weren't paid or paid enough. They need to have their pockets lined.

Conor's hype going to end at UFC 200. I don't see him getting past Nate. He's too tough to be finished and is too skilled on the ground for McGregor to finish it there. His only hope is a decision.
I'm sort of rolling back my previous opinion. With the right cardio and discipline, he's going to tag Diaz more than Diaz will tag him, and the shear number of shots landed will get more points. That's if McGregor can pace the stand up with enough endurance to not only be offensive, but defensive, which he didn't do last time. He's not going to try for a first round knockout anymore and he'll be smarter than just trying to brawl with Diaz from the opening bell.
Diaz might have to take him to the ground and rip mcgregor a new one to get the win (which I can definitely see happening again.)
I think mcgregor showed he can out-box diaz, but his strategy and pace didn't respect diaz' size and ability to take a punch. Successful or not, that will change in this second fight.
While McGregor looked like he could outbox Diaz in the first fight, that was a just got back from Cabo, no camp Diaz. He started slow. McGregor won't outbox Diaz. He may be more busy and win rounds because of it, but that only works if it goes the distance. The second it gets on the ground, Diaz wins. Diaz is going to catch McGregor again, and hurt him, again.
Diaz has been beaten my worse fighters than Conor. It just takes the right game plan.
Looking forward to Cris finally making her debut in the UFC:

why do both women seem so unhappy?
A highly anticipated light heavyweight title rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones at UFC 197 later this month is off, as Cormier has been forced to pull out because of a leg injury.
Sources confirmed the development to ESPN.com on Friday, following an initial report by BJPenn.com. UFC officials have not yet commented on Cormier's withdrawal or indicated whether Jones will remain on the April 23 card in Las Vegas.
Diaz talking about the UFC picking him for the fight sounds pretty reasonable...
Nick and Nate smoke more dope than Cheech and Chong. Because they take so many shots, they both have serious scar tissue problems, ruined sinus cavities, TBI, on and on. Dementia Pugilistica is almost a guarantee for both as they age. I surmise given their childhoods, they are surprised and happy to not be dead or in jail at this point, so everything is gravy. The Diaz bro's are really down to earth fighters. They seem like good people. I just don't like the antics. but i understand them.
My real issue with him is he always sounds like a drugged out high school kid.
Cormier injured, lol. More interim title bullshit.

Looks like White couldn't wait to get the belt off Cormier and on Jones, so he basically stripped him of it.
Wow, less than 6 months since DC's last fight and they are doing the interim title. Also, why is it Jones vs OSP for the interim title and not Jones vs Rumble? What a crock of sh1t. lol
