With so little of the revenue (by percentage) going to fighters, the UFC must be massively profitable and/or incredibly wasteful/corrupt. Dana White isn't laughing all the way to the bank; it's safe to say he and the Fertittas are the bank at this point.

If White is just getting his share of owners' net profits, then that makes sense. For some reason, it sounded like his contract to continue as President of the UFC included profit sharing.

Still ambiguous - if Dana thinks the organization is going to fail later it's better to take a huge check up front and maybe settle for a net deal, instead of taking a smaller amount up front and asking for a gross deal

lots of moving pieces in any type of net/gross profit deal, and I would hope that there are smart lawyers on all sides.

For what it's worth, WWE probably has a stricter and more comprehensive PED policy than UFC. Less wrestlers probably juicing than fighters.

You should care more about the fact that fighters are not getting paid shit.

Most professional athletes are on PEDs, PRIDE did not do any testing other than medicals. It is not an unfair advantage over opponents if everyone can do it.

I do not pay much attention to professional wrestling, so maybe or maybe not. Keep in mind Brock was never found out until he came back to the UFC.

A little info on the Lesnar and Jones drug tests.

It was found that both Jones and Lesnar tested positive for hydroxyl-clomiphene, an estrogen blocker, which can mask steroid use. In addition to clomiphene, Jones also tested positive for Letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor.

Both found to have used banned substances, but not directly found to have used PEDs (though, the implication is there). I don't think the UFC could reasonably do much themselves. Isn't it USADA that would ban them for a period of time (probably none of Lesnar as it is his first offense)?

In the 80s and 90s maybe. But it much harsher on PEDs now. Recently, Roman Reigns, the guy WWE was (stupidly) pushing to be their top man was suspended for PEDs. That is something the UFC (if it was up to them) or the WWE of the past would ever do.

And if Brock needs juice, he must have started in middle school. He was a monster in high school and college. It wasn't like Barry Bonds type skinny to huge transformation in an off season.

Except, he's always been like that. Look at videos of him in college and high school. He was a monster then. Could he have been taking HGH in middle school? Sure, a things possible. It is far more likely he hit the ultimate genetic lottery though.
