He signed a 3 fight contract, so even if he wants to retire he'll have no choice but to fight 2 more times. I'm all for a Japan PPV with no weight classes like Pride use to have. Cain Vs Diaz would be a pretty sick.
I don't see why these top tier fighters don't skip right back to the regional circuits when they lose their elite edge. Even at their worst they're 10 times better than regional guys and they can make a decent living by name alone.
I met Dan Severn (my former roommates dad) right before he retired and he was still cracking dudes left and right on the regional scene. I don't see why they don't go about their craft like boxers and pad the record and make decent, relatively decent earnings...

No joke. Even 20 pounds of a non-weight cutting difference apparently makes a huge difference now. Look what happened when Maldonado made the jump from LHW to HW to fight Miocic. It was like a man vs a boy in that fight, and Maldanado doesn't get dominated by 205's like he did against a 240lb Miocic.

The recent women's TUF certainly wasn't full of particularly attractive women.
I was just wondering something... And wondering if anybody else wondered this, too.. But why is it all the new up and coming or popular UFC women, happen to also be very attractive?
I mean, there are obviously non- good looking female fighters, but all the most popular names seem to also be attractive. Which is odd because you'd think that hot chicks would not really be into fighting. Makes me wonder if they get promoted more simply because of their looks. Granted, RR is one of the best female fighters in the world, there are others who were popular but not that awesome.
There's now this new fighter, Paige Van Zant who is the youngest to be in the UFC as a female. I haven't heard of her, and haven't had a chance to watch any of her previous fights yet. Is this girl legit or is she just a hottie that the UFC knows will sell tickets?
