what new scoring system that Nevada has yet to adopt?
That's pretty rich, particularly for a ME that could easily end early. I hope they are lining up some other damn good fights.Lameweather, McGregor fight price has been announced, $99.95 for HD.

Says someone who I doubt has ever paid a cent for any fight. If I cant get a stream on Kodi, then I wont watch it. Friends have talked about getting it and having people pitch in, I wont spend a single cent for a Lameweather fight.

I've purchased more Bellator PPVs than UFC. >_>Says someone who I doubt has ever paid a cent for any fight.
Meh!I have paid cover charges at places to watch the UFC.
On Monday, he told ESPN he is "very happy" with the Bellator contract, and added it will pay him a flat rate every time he fights -- as opposed to the show-and-win money system the UFC traditionally favors.
"I show up and I get paid," Mousasi told ESPN. "With the UFC, they say, 'If you're a champion, we'll pay you well.' They don't say that to soccer players. Those athletes have a steady contract, and if they win a championship, then they get a bonus.
"That's how it should be. Not, 'Oh, prove you're going to be a champion.' I'm not going to gamble. It's like gambling. It's a fight -- the best fighter doesn't always win. I've already proven myself as one of the best, and I'm willing to step up when the company needs me. I've proven my value in so many ways."
The promotion will also allow him to sign his own in-cage sponsors, which is prohibited in the UFC because of its exclusive apparel deal with Reebok.
One potential downside of moving to Bellator for Mousasi was the loss of a comprehensive drug-testing program, which the UFC provides year-round. The vast majority of Bellator's drug-testing efforts rely on state regulators, and some are better than others.
Mousasi, however, said Bellator president Scott Coker told him he would be willing to address that concern on a case-by-base basis with the fighter.
"That's the great thing about Bellator is that I talked to Scott about all of that," Mousasi said. "I get something to say in Bellator. If I don't trust a guy and want him tested on an unexpected basis, Scott was open to that.
"There is a difference. [The UFC's anti-doping program] was great. My career rocketed after that started. Obviously, I believe guys are using steroids -- but if I believe that, I will have some say in it here."
I'm not surprised either, and I think they are easily going to set PPV records. The first presser starts today at 5pm est, and it's going to be hilarious. McGregor has had lots of time to come up with his insults and quips, and I'm looking forward to the banter.I've purchased more Bellator PPVs than UFC. >_>
Also, $100 for HD should have been known. I'd have been surprised if it was lower.

If Mayweather is the ultimate business man, he will take a dive in this fight (after betting the house on McGregor), then bet on himself in the rematch, and win that fight. Now, there's calls for a trilogy, where he absolutely destroys McGregor and regains his legacy. $500m+ cash. And it's going to go like every Mayweather build up. McGregor is going to look like he has he edge and people are going to flock to the idea he will win, and we'll get another typical Mayweather performance and the casuals who got sold on him losing will cry about it.

Lol, soon to be 6-0!The only boxer who has an unbeaten record against both males (49-0) and females (5-0).

It's funny that one of the best fights in the history of MMA is about to happen and people can't stfu about a joke boxing match. It's unnerving getting email update alerts for this thread less than two weeks before the DC vs Jones rematch...not hoping for it but I know one of them will be about Jones off the card for some reason. This fight has got to happen...then Jones can go to rehab, jail, prison, crack house, wherever he wants (not hoping for either.)

Help me out here: how is boxing a MMA? What is it mixed with?
It's a boxing match, which would make it part of boxing history, wouldn't it?
