The brothers will reap another windfall with an IPO that’s expected to value Red Rock at $4.3 billion including debt — less than half what it was worth in 2007. Most of the $496 million in net proceeds — assuming 27 million shares price at midpoint of the expected $18 to $21 range on Tuesday — will go to the Fertittas.

Red Rock plans to use $460 million to buy out Fertitta Entertainment, the brothers’ privately held management company.

The management company in 2011 signed a 25-year deal with the casino. The brothers will be paid out for the full contract in the IPO.

Red Rock is also paying off all the debt of the brothers’ company, including a $30 million loan for a 2011 Gulfstream jet that will be transferred to Fertitta Entertainment, filings show.

Critics of the deal — namely unions unhappy that Red Rock has kept out organized labor — point out that none of the IPO cash will go to pay down debt.

“It is alarming that potential investors in Red Rock’s second-class IPO are being asked to buy out an insider management company at a high, $460-million valuation, instead of paying down company debt or funding new growth initiatives,” said Ken Liu of Unite Here.

So in other news, dont any of you want to talk about how so many of you underestimated OSP?

Its about what I thought would happen. I dont think Jones has finished anyone since Chael. OSP was never going to win even one round in this fight, unless he caught him with a lucky punch and KO'd Jones. OSP's best shot was Jones failing the drug test.

Holy shit you are right! I wonder if that Gustafsson fight has turned Jon Jones into a giant chicken. Then again he has constantly ducked fighters throughout his professional fight career. He was constantly running away from both the Machida and Gustafsson rematches, and he has prevented both from happening yet so far.

I dont think its fear, but ego and arrogance. It seems like he tries to beat his opponents at their strengths. And the other is the step up in competition. Glover, DC, and Gus are probably the best guys he has fought. I thought the OSP fight would go to a decision because Jones would try to out strike him, but OSP is pretty durable and doesnt really lose to stoppages. Jones would let OSP hang around while he tried to embarrass him. Jones proving he's better at his opponents strengths seems more important to him than just winning by any means.

Jones didnt exactly dominate OSP in the first 3 rounds of the fight. He was winning sure, but not dominating.

In general I dont think Jon had dominated that many rounds in his last 4 fights. He is in control and obviously wins them, but aside from the last two rounds of the Gus fight it didnt look like he was in position to finish anyone. Never even really stunned someone.

Holy Carp, and he fought on and on!

Yeap. he is one tough SOB. I think the fight would have gone diffrent if he didn't break his arm. he was getting confidence in his striking. He landed a few good shots before it broke.

DC would have destroyed JBJ.

If DC was man enough to fight. There's to many convenient injuries these days.

ROFL. that is fucking crazy.

he was getting confidence in his striking.

This was actually a very key event in the fight. At the start of the 4th round OSP suddently was very relaxed against Jon Jones. Basically the exoticness and novelty or whatever of Jones had worn off. OSP now had some understanding of him. It ultimately did lead to OSP losing the last 2 rounds worse than he could of, but ultimately it is huge, and dont be surprised if Jon Jones runs away from any rematches. Once OSP was now relaxed, the striking war against Jones wasnt that scary anymore. Unfortunately he also was far less jumpy and nervous, and thus he wasnt jumping away from clinching up with Jones as much as he had earlier, which is where Jones was notably more advanced than OSP.

Ultimately I think OSP has some very good potential and tools to fight Jon Jones, he just needs to work on his cardio first, and then also work on his wrestling, clinch fighting, and ground defense 2nd. That will make him much more dangerous to Jon Jones. And also work on improving and especially using leg kicks, those chicken legs of Jones wont last in any fight that they get hammered in.

DC would have destroyed JBJ.

I think he would have in this fight also. But now Jones has had a fight, so some of that ring rust will surely wear off. I guess we will see how well they both do at UFC 200.

Too bad these guys are fighting at LHW, as both are true cruiserweights.

I think the main weakness Jones has is in striking.
thats the only thing osp had success with vs jones.

I would love to see a jones/gufferson rematch.

Jones is so tough to beat because his strength is so balanced and his endurance is off the charts. Not only that, but he has yet to be rocked by punches so hard that he's lost his legs for any significant amount of time. I find that pretty amazing.

At the same time, Jones gets in so many various chip shots during rounds without even having a significant conventional striking game, that he eventually weakens opponents while accumulating rounds on judges cards.

People think DC would have beaten Jones last weekend, but I disagree that was evident. Jones did more than OSP did, and he would have also stepped up and done more than DC would have done. He would have mixed in a lot more counters that would have taken advantage of DC's over-aggression and eventual fatigue at times. There was absolutely nothing in the fight against OSP that suggested Jones was more vulnerable to getting rocked by punches either, and there is no way DC can win unless that happens.

Rumors seem to be pointing to Mayweather coming out of retirement to fight McGregor. I certainly hope this happens, as McGregor would get so out boxed it wouldn't even be funny.
