Holy Jesus Shit Christ.

When did lightweight, and make that featherweights and bantamweights too, ever get so big? I literally thought Christos Giagos looked like a middleweight. And looking over the next 2, even after seeing the weightclasses that they fight in, Aaron looks like a lightweight or welterweight, and Morales looks like a lightweight.

I got their weightclasses in relation to each other perfectly right, yet they are all 2 full weightclasses down from what they look like to me. Something here aint right, this cant be healthy.

Yeah, this has been the trend for awhile now. I'm guessing Christos was in the 175 lbs range tonight. Aaron was easily over 160. Morales was probably not too far off there too.

Ed Soares, owner of RFA, manager for Lyoto Machida, Anderson Silvia, Jose Aldo, the Nogueira brothers, etc.

Anyhow, all 3 did serious work tonight.

Tommy Aaron: 1 minute 15 second KO finish
Albert Morales: 20 second KO finish, signed to UFC by Dana White at the end of night
Christos Giagos: 30 second KO finish

Heard about it.

Other than on twitter, still no confirmation of his death so I have been waiting until later to make a discussion on it.

Well shit man... RIP. He was a tough son of a bitch...

Yeah, its too bad he got into MMA so late. He was already spent physically when he started. Its hard to believe both he and Dada passed the required physicals to do that Bellator fight.

Ah thanks for the info.

RIP Kimbo, I liked his personality on TUF, he was humble on the show and tried to learn as much as he could to get better at MMA given his very, very late start.

holy.. $4.2B?!
never knew it was worth that much.
sheesh!

and the fighters are paid pennies compared to that price tag.

also:
Alongside this news are reports that, despite selling his shares as part of the deal, President of Operations Dana White would be staying on in his role with the promotion, apparently receiving a new stake in the company as well.

sigh.. dana's going to stick around

but I guess he's the main reason why ufc has been so successful?

Yeah, as much as Dana is a fucking idiot, he certainly was in charge when the UFC took off.

Considering an NBA team is now worth > 1bil, that's not really that much.

The PRIDE Lady?

Yes, her. My menu says kickboxing is on after Bellator, so maybe that's when the Dynamite thing is on. If so, I wont record that, so if they use her I am safe from her fucking lame ass intros.
