Bellator event tomorrow, 4 pm west coast time is free on Spike, then the PPV is on after that.
Wow! Fedor is fighting Mitrione. Had no idea this was coming; I'll have to find a sports bar to watch!
After seeing at 25% speed, I have no clue how Mitrione got enough into his right to knock down Fedor, muchless how he survived Fedor's right landing square as he threw it.I cant remember the last time I saw a double knockdown.
Newcomer from WSOF, Justin Goethje, takes out #5 Michael Johnson in the 2nd round. There are still some full-fight vids on youtube. Pretty amazing to come from outside the ufc to instantly jump to top-five. Johnson rocked him in the first but he survived and applies so much pressure, he eventually caught Johnson and finished him with a knee against the cage. He'll be an exciting fighter to watch.
As entertaining of a fight as it was, Michael Johnson is massively overrated and overranked. I don't see Justin Gaethje being one of the best, but he will have some entertaining fights.Newcomer from WSOF, Justin Goethje, takes out #5 Michael Johnson in the 2nd round. Wtf, she was a crappy ME to begin with. No doubt it had something to do with a 'failed weight cut'...that's a bad f-up. Whitaker-Romero is going to be awesome tho, too bad it's a shallow card overall.Nunes is out for tonight's ME, Whitaker, Romero now the ME.
I like Nunes and her fighting style. I thought this was going to be a very good fight, especially considering how their last fought went. Sucks, but oh well. The co-main event was the people's main event anyway.Wtf, she was a crappy ME to begin with. No doubt it had something to do with a 'failed weight cut'...that's a bad f-up. The reports coming out are looking really BS. Like, the UFC is making shit up BS. TMZ is reporting "doctors found nothing wrong" with Nunes from "their sources" which sure as fuck ain't actual doctors or anyone that's examined Nunes. I imagine it is the UFC, as they have a deal with TMZ. From what I've seen, it sounds like she had a hard cut and hit complications regaining weight and possible some kind of sinus infection.Nunes is out but was still cleared to fight by doctors.
Also, the UFC is pumping hard social media BS concerning JJ stepping in. NAC already confirmed UFC has not even requested this AND even if they did, the rules forbid it anyway.
