In the time it took you to write that rant, you could have educated yourself about the differences between "then" and "than" and "who" and "whom" so you wouldn't look ignorant.

Typos happen. I do it all the time. But there is a difference between making a mistake and being ignorant of what is right. I don't respect people who are content with being ignorant.
