This segregation crap sucks. I like having one definitive place to read everything GPU related. I'm starting to dislike this change.
Yeah, I don't like it either. I don't frequent VC&G - I check it once or twice a week, at most - but this is even less reason for me to visit it now.
There isn't a reason to section off AMD and Nvidia. If people can't manage to be civil, ban them. Just imagine how crappy the experience would be if the same logic applied to Mobile Devices & Gadgets (or P&N, for that matter)... yes, there's a separate Apple forum (and I'm not really a fan of that, either) but people manage to keep things civil about Android, Windows Phone, and iOS in there most of the time. Individual offenders should just be warned, vacationed, and banned if they can't manage to discuss things in a productive or at least civil manner.
If it's about organizing information along the two approaches, you actually just end up making it harder for manufacturer-agnostic members to compare information. No one likes digging down into subforums, either.
And please, please declare a moratorium on new forums and subforums. There's already decreased activity in most of the forums compared to a few years ago. It's annoying to browse a dozen forums I'm interested in, and on top of that you have the terrible mobile implementation that makes it harder to browse the forums. If it's less forum participation you are going for, this is precisely the way to achieve it.
