The current situation of Team Anandtech distributed computing is not good. In fact, it's depressing. TA lost the #1 position in rc5 to the DPC a while back and now they've taken OGR as well. We've never been #1 in SETI@Home but we've been making a steady climb (from ~35th to 10th in club teams) up the charts despite being the smallest of any team around us. Now that progress has stopped. Maybe that's the reason for Possessed Freak's thread HERE?

Please Anandtech, support your distributed computing projects!

I think this should be the priority order.
We need to get Anand to do a lot more pushing.
I have only been here for a week. You know how

Our SETI progress has not stopped.
We will continue to pass other teams.
We just won't be passing the Dutch as soon as we had hoped.

D'oh! this is distubing. HTH did that happen? I believe ottowanker and others warned us this was coming. I'll get an OGR box going this weekend. I have a K6-2 350 I've been intending for this.

And I just noticed one of my cows (A 1 GHz T'bird no less) had it's network cable unplugged, so it was running on fumes for several days. :|
