I've heard the same sentiment from my Canadian co-workers. Their sentiment is "what the fuck are you guys doing, trying to mimick the UK? I came here to escape this!"

no, they died because there was no free speech under hitler. never mind democratic rule.
you might want to think about what hitler and co would have labeled as "hate speech" as well.

Those people died because of a lot of things. Most of it had to do with taking rights away rather than exercising them.

Only muslims have free speech.

The way to test this is to say what the muslim woman said about christianity was a hatecrime against all Christians. Make counter charges. Not only in this case but in hundreds of cases all over the united kingdom till the courts are so tired of it that they relent and come to recognized that all faiths have a right to freedom of speech.

It is strange that christians are persecuted in England.
