As a stupid American whose only knowledge about this topic comes from reading maybe 10% of the comments in this forum on this subject, I thought May was just stuck with an impossible dilemma? From what I understand there is no way to negotiate a good Brexit deal.

Because it was founded on baseless populist sweettalk and not on real economic modelling. Anybody with an iota of a brain cell would have seen Brexit for what it was - a total scam and lie.

Unfortunately, like we've seen in the US, UK and even here in Australia, the average denizen doesn't understand all this jargon about 'tariffs, autarky measures, terms of trade, factor endowments, global financial markets etc.' nor do they care to learn before making rash and uneducated decisions that would negatively affect them in both the short and ling run.

There really is no substitute for education, it's just a never ending cycle of uneducated and misinformed folk voting for the party cutting education funding leading to a generation of even more uneducated and easily misinformed folks repeating the same futile cycle ad infinitum.

I think Trump is competent in a couple of avenues only
1. Bullshit artist
2. Corruption
3. White collar crime.
On top of that I am certain he is a level of psychopath.

Trump likely gets a more slobbery hound kind of reception. Besides that someone worse is probably coming up as she was considered too weak to force this through, not being "Trump enough" in my very very limited understanding and hopefully UK/EU members will opine. • Holding another referendum on whether to Brexit or
• The impossible task of delivering the Brexit half the country was sold on - all the benefits of being in the EU without any of the supposed downsides and a unicorn that shits rainbow colored ice cream in every home
