Ultimate Form of Torture?

My history teacher was talking about a torture method which the Brittish used on POWs in the 60s.

Imagine, you are a POW and trying to be interogated. You won't say anything so they will resort to torture. They drug you so you can't see, hear, feel, smell or anything that has to do with senses. Then, they put you in a tank filled with water and a oxygen mask on. Now, since all your senses are gone, you don't know your in the water. You can't scream, you don't know you are breathing out of a mask because you can't feel the mask. You don't know weather your eyes are open or not. Or if your arms are moving. So it's just you and your brain. Ultimate Torture or that seems cool?

I heard that in Vietnam, red hot nails were jammed under the finger nails of POWs. Man, that's just wrong. I also hear things about probes...and the "other" excrement waste hole.

You should know that they want something from you. You should know that, though they they may put you in the tank, they will take you out of the tank to further question you, or to off you out of frustration.

Either way, say nothing and they will have no satisfaction and you will win, not them.

You will have tortured them more so then they you.

How about putting a guy in a large canvas sack and binding his limbs then dropping in a few starving rats? I've heard that one a couple times, sometimes you'd find the guy in the sack still alive, but with no eyeballs, etc. That would suck bad.

How about you laying on a War Helmet stapped with the head hole facing your stomach. So you are laying on a Helmet. Before you lay on it, they put a FAT HUNGRY rat in it and you lay on it. Since the rat can get out of the helmet since it's metal, it will eat through your stomach. How does that feel?

It's called a sensory depravation tank (gee, where'd they come up with that one). Used quite frequently today in psychological experiments, without the drugs. It's like a little jacuzzi with a lid, water at exactly body temperature. It's not perfect, but half the people who go in usually become delusional within an hour, so I guess it still does its job.

I saw something about it TLC one time or something...

 

That's pretty gross, urbantechie! Anybody heard of the medieval form of torture called "The Pear"? It's a particularly nasty one.

Have you heard of, "The Saw"? You get hung upside down so all the blood rushes to your head so you live longer. You are upside down and spread eagle. The take those Jack saws...you know..the one with two handles and two people use. The put it in between your legs and start sawing....

In Vietnam, the POWs were sometimes tied down in the middle of the forest with holes cut in their side. All the local critters were free to roam into and out of the hole.:Q

I once read the 100 most awful ways to die (with Viper sitting right next to me on the ground in the middle of FredMeyer's magazine section ). Check these out:

cobalt, nothing against any of those things u put as terrible ways to die, but the rats wouldn't be able to burrow out of your abdomen....your stomach as a ph of around ~1-2, so any living thing put in it will not live for any length of time.....but it still sounds very horrible

I didn't think of these things: these were things actually used in torture. Is it my fault if they fed the guy and burnt his skin instead of kill him?
