Anyone know if these are worth it? I do see 2x120mm fans, which most people want for better airflow...

I have the firewire+USB version of that enclosure. It works really well, though the glue that holds the rear exhaust fan in place wasn't very strong so the fan vibrates somewhat until I can re-glue it. Also, it is somewhat of a pain-in-the-ass to disassemble the case to get the drive in, but I much prefer it over the slide-in enclosures since this one secures the drive with four screws. Overall, I think it's worth the price. I paid $50 for mine.

The plastic case + fan is a turn-off for me. I have enough fans on my rig. But it's the chipset that should make or break this deal for anyone. Good chipset = good data , bad chipset = bad data. Not sure who makes the chipset on that enclosure.
