Ultra ATA 100?

I just benchmark Ultra ATA 100 with HD Tach.
Other than Read Burst Speed, ATA 33 seems faster.
CPU utilization is lower on ATA33 too.
Am i doing soething wrong here?

promiss ATA 100 controller.

check the system device, if there are other device shareing the irq with your promise ultra100...then it will slow down the performance...
