Looking at the case.....just from what I can see in photos, I haven't gotten mine in yet...the cages look riveted in. But that's not unusual at all.
You may have to remove the front bezel to slide your optical drive in from the front after you break out the metal cover under the bezel. You also have to remove the plastic bezel drive cover.
For the hard drive, it simply slides into its cage from inside the case.....slide it in until the screw holes in the drive line up with the holes in the cage you want to use and fasten down. You'll have to remove both side covers to access both sides of the optical and hard drives to put screws in on both sides, but once that's done, the right side cover should be put back on and probably won't have to be removed again until and unless you change a drive out.
Simple.
