I just got an email from onrebate.com. They said I had 'Insufficient documentation, no invoice'. I had included the email from radio shack that said 'your radioshack order confirmation'. What they wanted was for me to go to the radioshack website and print out the 'order details' and physically mail it to them. Needless to say, they don't accept email.

It is true that the radioshack order confirmation is not exactly an invoice, but since they didn't physically mail me one with the power supply, I thought the order confirmation would be sufficient. I was wrong. I suspect that everyone else that did what I did will get the same #@&$ denial from onrebate.com

hmmm, I actually have run into the old confirmation vs. receipt scenario before.

After not finding anywhere on RadioShack's site where I could print an invoice I called them and spoke to "Rob in customer service". Rob explained that the email confirmation was all that's needed. I questioned his answer, making sure he knew the diff between a confirmation, receipts and packing lists (rebate form says receipt OR packing list). Rob explained that this situation had come up many times and his manangers had given him the ok to tell people that a confirmation is fine for rebates because you can't print invoices or packing lists from their site. I still knew I might be in for some trouble, which is why I made Rob give me his name. Again, I made sure Rob knew i was dealing with onrebates AND RadioShack and he told me again, a confirmation would be fine for both.

I haven't heard back from onrebates or radioshack yet, I mailed my forms on the 18th, which means I probably won't hear from them for at least 2 weeks.

My Radio Shack rebate is still not listed on their website.

Don't know why I didn't try before, but the site comes up on my laptop connected through a VPN and out my company proxy. No go from my home DSL connection though!

After finally getting to the site, mine isn't showing as received either.

OnRebate says the check is in the mail.

If you followed the rules, mailed ontime and made copies there is nothing stopping you from emailing/calling them and stating your case. Just be nice and make sure you have the proof to back up your claim.

fwiw, I called OnRebate yesterday and they said they're still working on approving March submissions, even ones sent in at the beggining of March. They said they should be catching up within the next couple of days.

I bought a x-connect 500W PSU aoubt 2 months ago from Outpost. It was cheap, it was modular, and it looked sweet. I had read some reviews saying that it was garbage and some reviews that said it wasnt that bad so i figured, for that price, id give it a shot. When I first fired it up it seemed fine, the 2 fans were quiet, but after a while it gets pretty loud. But im a silentpc person so it may not bother some. Anyway, this morning while i was playing CoD2 i heard a loud POP (i even had closed headphones on) and saw a bright blue flash. My first reaction was FCK cuz i assumed everything was fried but after testing it out it was just the PSU that died (whew). I dont run a crazy power guzzling system as you can see from the sig, so yeah, my old FSP psu was a LOT more reliable than this one. I thought that it wouldnt happen to me, but then it did.
Just a fair warning for you jumping at this one.

Thanks, that worked. At least I know I'm in the system as having purchased something. Still no way to print a packing list or invoice though....
