a would-be rapist looks for an easy target. dressing like a slut has nothing to do with it. Physical attraction has nothing to do with it.

The issue with "well, she was asking for it" has to do with dressing slutty at a bar/club and flirting with every swinging dick in the bar. Certainly not acceptable to rape a girl in that situation either, but it's not the same as being raped by a stalking street creeper.

Not sure what a momo is, but the point isn't that their dress justifies it. It's that the type of guy that would be willing to sexually assault a woman is going to target them because of how they dress. These girls admit to being a slut, which is like painting a giant target on themselves to men that would take advantage of this.

When I grew up, being a slut wasn't something to be proud of and people certainly didn't brag about it.

I'm not going to pretend I have any clue as to what a rapist looks for or how one thinks, never gone there. But if the "dressing slutty == asking for it" thing is a myth I would guess it is perpetuated by men who would never commit such a heinous act, simply because they don't understand the mindset of a rapist. We are probably trying to think logically (hot easy looking lay) when the very act itself is not. In other words, I don't think this mindset is necessarily out of evil or sexist thinking per se, just naivety as to how a rapist thinks. I dunno tho, *shrug*.
