Umm.. Duh ... *drool* Do you get an internal speaker with a case?

Ok nothing like a really stupid question to make me look like a newbie but here goes anyways...

I am currently waiting to recieve an Antec SX1030b case.

I was wondering if cases come with internal speakers or do you have to go out and buy one?

Every case has an internal speaker ... at least from the last five that i've bought.

Yes you will.Thats the first thing I get rid of.Its from the days of before sound cards or something like that.I know they are helpful in trouble shooting a system,I just dont like/need one,ever.

Some of us move the speaker (rather than remove it) to the bottom of the case or to the right hand side of the case to make room for a front fan. Double stick tape or a dab of silicone applied to the speaker magnet is usually enough to secure it.

Your antec will come with an internal speaker mounted on the inside of the bezel. You'd have to remove the bezel to see it......very neat design and outta the way....but since its not actually inside the chassis....alot of people post that they cant find it.....lol............too funny!....some people say "i can hear it....but i cant find it"........lmao!

I've been given an error before because I didn't have a speaker attached. I don't remember what motherboard it was or anything, but I leave mine plugged in. It never makes any sound except when there's a problem.

I think Diceman has it right, my sx1030 has a very small piezo(?) speaker in the bezel. Beeps just fine, not like we need high fidelity.

You still need real speakers for the sound card or on-board audio, though.
