*** Unable to connect (No buffer space available)

This error I get sometimes, in mIRC. Other internet related apps give the same kind of errors, when it's that time again. I've got no idea what it means. The problem is solved when I reboot, and it comes back... or not. There seems to be nothing that triggers it.
Any ideas? TIA for them

It could be almost anything, but I would suggest making sure the drivers on the NICs are correct at the very least. Or getting another NIC to try. Let us know what happens.
