Wow. Adds fuel to why some members of congress are asking the DoJ to investigate it as a hate crime.

It also should shut up people who are saying that there's nothing that the SPD did wrong in their investigation.

Releasing an edited version of the initial call then finding out later that there is more information on the unedited version that casts a bad light on Mr. Zimmerman is prejudicial. The initial tape that was released was unclear enough that there was some doubt in my mind about the use of a racially provocative word.

Now in this unedited tape it's very clear what he said.

The SPD should have released the unedited tape to begin with.

The way the operator responded to "he's a black guy" was telling.

"Um, let us handle it sir, please stay away".

And the kid screaming in the background right before he is shot. This shooter was an ass and should be shot in return.

Regardless if he doesn't get convicted - he will never be comfortable in the state, and probably the US, for the rest of his life. I wouldn't doubt if someone kills him one day.

That is what is so bad about this case. Given the coverage, especially Mary Cutcher's very flawed witness account, it is likely that someone might actually go out and murder Mr. Zimmerman. Who might be innocent, you must admit. Might be guilty too, but might be innocent.

You linked an article that says Zimmerman claimed he was walking back to the truck when he was attacked. THat's the only article I've seen that said that. Can you give more evidence that article was accurate?

last fight was over 20 years ago and the only reason i fought was because i had no choice. the kid was not going to let me out without it.

i can tell you i was a 130lb 17 yr old. IF someone 200+ lbs was after me at night i would be fucking running.

why? what does T have to gain by standing and fighting? or attacking the guy with his back turned? 140lbs IS NOT ALOT. this is a kid not a highly trained MMA fighter. just a kid.

the kid ran. to think he jumped the guy 200+lbs is insane unless he had to fight back and couldn't run.

i don't believe at all that T jumped the guy or attacked him when his back was turned.

Not stupid at all. If someone is following me yes I'm gonna be scared, but when they stop and say something like 'what are you doing here?', that is not an aggressive sort of statement, that is someone who is defending or worrying about me. That is going to ease my fear, at least for a moment... I'm still gonna be on my defense, but I'm gonna answer the guy, since I'm not doing anything wrong, and then hope he leaves me alone.

yeah, I am sure when you are running and being chased by some guy at night, you are going to think that logically and calmly like you are now sitting in front of a computer.

thought you were a bad ass wrestler in high school. A 200+ lb untrained dude shouldn't be that hard to keep at bay.

A 200+lb at fighting weight is different that 200+lb typical dude. I'd put typical 200+lb guys at really 140-150lbs lean. My peak was about 190lbs at about 7-8% bodyfat. When I was below that I was around 175lbs.
